1:1 Nutrition Coaching
Are you looking to improve your blood glucose management? Have you been told by your doctor that you have high blood glucose levels or elevated A1C, or are at a high risk for developing diabetes? You don’t want to start on medications but you know you need to do something to improve your health.
If any of this sounds like you, you are in the right place. I am thrilled to announce that I am now accepting clients for nutrition coaching. As a client, we will work together to identify areas for improvement and strategize a realistic way to improve your blood glucose levels.
During your initial consultation, we will begin a complete nutrition assessment where we will analyze your food intake, food preferences, meal patterns, medical history, current and past relationship with food, food shopping habits, family life, and so much more. From there we will look at your goals and determine a course of action to get from point A to point B.
What is most important to note is that as a dietitian, I will never provide you with a specific meal plan to follow or prescribe a diet. Diets often provide more harm than good and are not sustainable. Research shows that the more foods you restrict, the more you will crave these foods and rebel against your diet. Instead of dieting, we will take a deep dive into your relationship with food and how we can establish a healthy relationship with food while incorporating foods and activities to improve and maintain your health.
